(En Dag för Framtiden) On Sunday, August 29, 2010 the Tällberg Foundation offered a full day of conversations about the future – the event took place in Stockholm and was open to the public. Naturakademin presented two workshops with a broad, skillful and advanced audience. The theme was Sustainable Leadership. The feedback was very positive!

Sustainable Leadership as we se it has to take care of three areas;

- The personal level – to sustain one Self and stick to one’s inner vision as the driving force for one’s leadership,

- The organizational level – to sustain the group, organization, community, society that depends on one’s leadership,

- The Global level – all living beings on the planet that are effected by one’s decisions and leadership.

Kan det vara så att det krävs ett ledarskap som inbegriper mer än bara mänskligheten för att utveckla en balans på planeten. Ett ledarskap som skapar förutsättningar så att planetens resurser som både skafferi och soptunna även kommer att räcka även för kommande generationer. Det kommer att handla om att ledare måste erfara den djupa insikten om att människan och naturen är ett, och ömsesidigt beroende. Seminariet leds av Göran Gennvi, Naturakademin Learning Lab. Seminariet avslutas med en upplevelse av Skeppsholmsnaturen.

Titeln på föredraget är ”Global Leaders Envision Sustainability—Creativity Inspired by Nature” där våra erfarenheter ifrån internationellt arbete med att använda Naturen som lärare och klassrum kommer att belysas. Naturakademins Vägvisare får högsta betyg !

Vi på Naturakademin har under flera år haft uppdraget att bidraga med ”Naturinslagen” under Tällberg Forum. Under årets forum som gick under namnet Rework the World med totalt ca. 1700 deltagare ifrån 120 länder har responsen varit översvallade ifrån de deltagare som spontant hört av sig eller svarat på utvärderings enkäterna. Naturupplevelsen har betygsatts till 4,9 av 5,0 möjliga! Självfallet beror det på flera faktorer, framförallt de duktiga och passionerade vägvisarna, 75 stycken. Dessa som genomgått en kurs och använt sig av en metodik som vi vet fungerar och som leder till det tillstånd vi alla är födda med där vi kan ta in naturen i stunden helt och fullt, här och nu! Ett tillstånd som många människor längtar till och njuter av när man hittar det. Det här e-mailet kom ifrån en av deltagarna till en av våra kollegor på Tällberg Foundation;

”- Dear Karin, Thank you so much for inviting me to the summit. The summit was very well organized and I made quite a few connections that could lead to bioenergy projects in Africa in a South-South (India-Africa) technology partnership. I shall keep you updated on the progress made from in key meetings at the summit. I am in touch with the leads I generated at the conference. I must say, some of the sessions that I enjoyed and learned the most from, were the nature trails & creativity workshop. These workshops helped me be in tune with my myself and become more resourceful, even when things are not going my way. Please be in touch and I shall like to be more involved in Tallberg’s work and anyway I can contribute.

….och sist men inte minst, ta en titt på 14 årige deltagaren ifrån indien som tre timmar efter den inlednade morgonpromenaden lade ut följande lilla film;

”- Today we went to Siljan, the sixth largest lake in Sweden. It was a part of the Nature Walk. It was cold, it was windy. But, when we started walking we got lost, lost in nature. Tall pine trees and golden carpets of dandelions, shimmering leaves and sweet melodies of birds hidden in trees. I wonder why they don’t show their face. After all we all desire to see the singers face. Finally we reached lake Siljan. The lake shore was very quiet. All we could hear was the water. It sang a song. A song of serenity, enchantment and bliss. This trip was not a hike or a camping trip. We got lost, lost in our selves. Not only I like to thank rework the world for this magical journey; I also deeply thank Lake Siljan”.

Sustainable Leadership and Greener Meetings

The conference theme the 18-19 jun 2010. “Take the Challenge – Make the Change: Sustainable Leadership and Greener Meetings.” Sustainable growth will require a change of mindset based on new concepts and beliefs. It will require an adjustment to new business models and work practices. It will place new and higher demands on conference center leaders and the way they lead. And all practices—whether existing, revised or brand-new—will need to be aligned with customer expectations. In short, adapting to sustainable growth won’t be easy but we’ll chart the path to success at this meeting! This is a learning journey that we’ll take together. The aim of the journey is to find a place of hope and achievement in a turbulent and sometimes threatening world. Experienced facilitators will be on hand to guide us through the program and after the intensive three-day session, participants will go home with new vision, new opportunities and new strategies and practices. Rethinking the leadership challenge and institutional change

Göran Gennvi are facilitating the Retinking session at Rework he World with the titel; ”Rethinking the leadership challenge and institutional change”, at the Rework the World meeting in Leksand.

”The global transformation pushed upon us by social, financial and ecological pressures challenges our institutional frameworks. The organisations and tools we have are simply poorly suited to handle the challenges we are faced with. This puts the leadership challenge in a new context, where the difficulty is not primarily to manage existing structures efficiently, but rather to create new tools and institutions to be able to have the impact required. It requires entrepreneurial learning and innovative thinking as well as an ability to design a future sustainable society.

Möjlighet att ta del av Vägvisarnas utbildningsmaterial inför Rework the World

Den 3 juni erbjuds alla deltagare,nära 2000 personer att under det stora internationella mötet Rework the World med hjälp av en stund i naturen landa och bli närvarande i kroppen, i naturen, i Leksand, i Dalarna, i Sverige, i Europa, på Jorden, i Universum.

Under våren har vi samlat vägvisare, 75 personer för att tränas inför Rework the World i metodiken innehållande konceptet ”Mindfulness in Nature/Sensing Exercise”. Som en del i utbildningen ingår en e-kurs. Kursen är nu paketerad i en e-bok. Den går nu att köpa på hemsidan under avdelningen ”Marketplace”. Det går även att registrera sig på WiLD Campfire Community som innehåller ytterligare bonusmaterial som kursdeltagarna kunnat ta del av.

Sensing Exersise handlar om att praktisera det Dr. Ola Schenström beskriver så här angående Mindfulness; ”Våra sinnen är vårt fönster mot omvärlden. Det är genom syn, hörsel, lukt och beröring som vi lär känna världen. …” Som vuxna skiljer vi sällan ut sinnesupplevelsen från vår bedömning av den…”Vårt tänkande och våra minnen förvränger erfarenheten, minnet blir ett filter för att se och uppleva verkligheten som den är.” När vi riktar vår medvetenhet på intrycken kan vi återigen känna världen direkt genom våra sinnen och få hjälp att vakna upp till vårt liv.” Genom att träna oss i att vara uppmärksamma på våra sinnesförnimmelser öppnar vi upp för ett mer medvetet närvarande liv. Vi är i direkt kontakt med verkligheten, i stället för våra tankar om den”. Det handlar om attityd, uppmärksamhet och intention och vi upplever det genom vår kropp, vår tanke, och vår känsla, det vi brukar kalla vår medvetenhet.
